Campbellford/Seymour Municipal Fund
The Campbellford/Seymour Municipal Fund was created with 50% of the proceeds of the sale of the Town of Campbellford's Public Utility, which took place in 2001. The other 50% was used to create the Campbellford/Seymour Community Fund.
This Fund, held by the Community Foundation, is used for projects determined by The Municipality of Trent Hills, and for the benefit of Campbellford/Seymour residents. Since 2003, over $2.3 million from this Fund have been invested in the Community. Projects range in size from $300 for Library signage to over $144,000 for the Splash Pad at Kennedy Park.
