Other Funding Resources

Grant Connect is a fundraising research platform that helps users identify funding opportunities from a database of thousands of foundations, corporations, and government programs. This tool was developed by Imagine Canada to support charities and non-profits so they can better serve their communities.

We are pleased to announce that Grant Connect is available at all three branches of the Trent Hills Public Library - Campbellford, Hastings and Warkworth. Library staff are trained to assist users in accessing the information on the platform. This service is only available in-person. Please contact Trent Hills Public Library staff to book a session.

Northumberland County sends out a weekly Funding Opportunities e-blast with information about current Federal, Provincial, Municipal, and Corporate, as well as other public and private foundations grant funding availability.

The e-blast focuses on funding opportunities for which municipalities are eligible, but many of these funding opportunities also consider non-profit organizations to be eligible.

You can contact Jennifer Hardy-Parr to request that your organization be added to the distribution list to receive this weekly e-blast. This is only available to municipalities, charities and non-profits located in Northumberland County.

The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is an agency of the Government of Ontario and one of Canada’s leading granting foundations. Their investments in communities across the province help build healthy and vibrant communities.

Their key funder is the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, which enables them to provide grants that can make the greatest impact. OTF also administers grants on behalf of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.

For more than 40 years, OTF grants have made an impact on the social, cultural and economic well-being of the people of Ontario.
