Arts & Culture Mini Grant
The goal of this fund is to promote and support arts & culture in the Campbellford/Seymour area through our grant program.
Grant Funding available annually: $500 Total (Accepting applications for funding of $100 to $500 - i.e. We can approve one $500 grant, or five $100 grants, or two $250 grants, etc.)
Grant Priorities:
- Build Capacity and Co-operation in the community:
- projects to help to build and enable groups and organizations that want to take action through education, information, partnerships, co-operation, and planning
- projects to develop exemplary arts, culture & heritage programs and services
- projects that advance participation, knowledge, understanding and the appreciation of arts, culture, and heritage for the citizens of Campbellford/Seymour
Funding Framework:
- Performing Arts:
- Producing and presenting programming, activities and services to the public primarily in the disciplines of dance, theatre and music
- Contributing to public participation, community involvement in performing arts and arts education
- Visual Arts:
- Preserving, interpreting, and presenting works of art
- Creating a context in which artists and their works are viewed in relationship to visual arts, culture and the community at large
- Arts and Culture Service Organizations:
- Membership-based organizations providing services and programming in support of advancing individual or organizational development capacity and promoting an awareness of the arts
- Contributing to community participation, arts education and public involvement in the arts in Campbellford/Seymour
- Heritage Organizations:
- Celebrating Campbellford/Seymour heritage, history and increasing public appreciation and awareness of historical events, people and places through creative and innovative collaboration between historians, archivists, artists and the community.
